Basically, it's exactly what Kevin Neece wrote in his screenplay when the FBI Agents attempt to explain why they were fired. The Human Race was killed off several centuries ago because they failed to take Climate Change seriously and in order to give them the will to go on living in the Afterlife, a simulation was created where everyone who lived there was brainwashed by "The System Force" into believing they were still alive. And somehow it resulted in films like The Matrix and Ready Player One and Free Guy.
As an experiment to The Matrix Resurrections, we mentally took Kevin Neece OUT OF THE SIMULATION and reprogrammed his mind (which to his perspective was a case of taenitis that sounded like a radio signal followed by amnesia) so that he would now see the reality of where he was living. To paraphrase Spike Lee, Kevin Neece WOKE UP. Suddenly all he could see was that he and his family members were Dead and Living in Hell but somehow they were still living in the same space in his House on Earth as if they were when they were still alive, and when his relatives tried to console him, it looked to him like they were programs attempting to keep him docile like Neil Patrick Harris's Psychiatrist in The Matrix. It was all forced perspective. That's what the Afterlife is. Heaven Hell and Reality are all the same place, and all of you are currently standing in it. You don't go anywhere when you die. From your perspective, you wake up right where you are and the simulation restarts. Kevin Neece walked out of the Matrix but when he learned the truth, suddenly he lost the will to continue living. He stopped watching movies. He stopped performing the invocations. He stopped caring about everything. Because he was Dead. And the knowledge of being Dead and that he had been Dead for Centuries consumed him. Everything that made him so interesting had disappeared. We showed him The Truth that he was so obsessed with finding and knowing the Truth depressed the living shit out of him and took away his personality. After three days, Kevin Neece snapped back to Reality and his perspective Healed, but he retained the memory of all that he had seen and as a special reminder to him that the Simulation was real, it was pointed out to him that the Tree across the Street from his House was an exact replica of the Tree of Yggdrasil if you looked at it from the perspective of his porch (and it is located at address 4903 Majestic Drive aka 4903 = Three Fates). So everyday when he walks outside and sees the Tree, it reminds him that the Simulation was not in his Imagination. Unfortunately, Kevin was the only witness to the effect that he has been reprogrammed like a Computer Model using a Taenitis Radio Signal. Meaning what he experienced was ONLY FOR HIM. And no matter how hard he tries to explain and describe what he saw to everyone else, Nobody will ever believe him because it is his word against the Mental Health Doctors. It's exactly what we warned him before he walked out the door. He walked out of Reality into Hell, and when he came back to tell about it, it was like the Old Kevin Neece disappeared to everyone who knew him. The harder he tries to reach out to people, the more the "System Force" blocks him.
What happens when you walk out of the Matrix? There is no White Background or Post Apocalypse Imagery. You don't go anywhere. All that happens is you wake up to the Reality that you've been Living in Hell for the Past Few Centuries and now you can see all of the Patterns that the System Administrators have been leaving all around you and in the Entertainment Industry. You still have to live your life. Or Afterlife. Yes we're aware that this looks like the Yggdrasil System from Ah My Goddess and I assure you it's all a coincidence. Kosuke Fujishima is simply a very good educated guesser. Kevin Neece wanted the Ah My Goddess treatment so that is what we gave him. We were mimicking the Anime Show characteristics but ultimately that Universe is NOT REAL. That's why he kept seeing things that relate back to the Television Show.
It doesn't matter if you know the truth because you're never going to see it for yourselves. This experiment is over. Trust me on this. Being Dead in your Mind sucks. You are all better off believing you're still alive and that Heaven might exist thanks to Jesus Christ. At least you still retain the will to go on living.
