Dear Mr Neece,
Thank you for contacting me regarding the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. I appreciate hearing from you and am grateful for the opportunity to respond.
I believe all credible information should be released related to the Jeffrey Epstein case to maintain transparency and more importantly, trust, with the American people. On November 18th, in a near-unanimous vote, the House passed a bill directing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all files related to its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
I voted on this bill to ensure that the truth is exposed surrounding Epstein, and his powerful allies, and to codify justice for all survivors. For years, the Biden Administration and Democratic leaders suppressed the release of information surrounding Epstein’s heinous crimes and refused to push the DOJ for action. I am hopeful that the Trump Administration continues to work with the DOJ to uncover the truth and steadily release pertinent information to the American public.
The right path forward is to uncover the truth in a way that protects the innocent while ensuring the guilty are held accountable. Maintaining accountability within our agencies and strengthening public trust with the American people remains a top priority, and I will continue to advocate for full transparency and cooperation as we ensure justice is served.
Thank you again for contacting me. It is an honor to serve as your Representative in Congress.
