Dear Mr. Neece,
Thank you for your message to my office regarding the investigation of Jeffery Epstein and his death. Like you, I believe in transparency and that the public deserves answers. I have taken action by voting in favor of a release of the Epstein files to the American public.
Human trafficking is one of, if not the most, evil industry on our planet. Despite law enforcement's efforts, human trafficking is on the rise in the United States. These international networks have access to great resources, and we often see that the leaders of these networks, like Epstein, live double lives as well-known public figures. This is concerning for the American people; the public deserves to know who has connections to the Epstein trafficking network.
For these reasons I have called for the public release of the Epstein files by Attorney General Pam Bondi. I have voted in favor of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, to require the DOJ to publish investigative materials related to Jeffery Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell. Furthermore, I support increased law enforcement action to counter human trafficking, including securing the border to prevent these networks from smuggling people into our country and then extorting them
