21st Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 20, 2026

Dear Mr Neece,

As a long-time supporter of government transparency, I voted to release the Epstein files, which requires the Department of Justice to release all unclassified documents related to Jeffery Epstein. These files could’ve been released during the Biden Administration, but they didn’t want these records out because it would’ve made their friends look bad.

I believe that transparency is the best disinfectant, so let the record reflect that President Trump once again is the most transparent public official to have ever stepped foot in the Oval Office. After four years of inaction under the Biden administration, President Trump’s leadership is bringing closure to victims and their families.

I support the House Oversight Committee’s existing investigation into Mr Epstein and Ms Maxwell. The Committee has already released nearly 65,000 documents that are now publicly available to the American people and issued subpoenas for depositions and records.

President Trump demonstrated that no matter how much money or how much power someone has –  if you abused anyone – you can’t hide and you will be held accountable. I hope that by voting for the release of the Epstein Files, we can bring accountability to any of the monsters involved in these grotesque crimes.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Patronis

Member of Congress
