Dear Mr Neece,
Thank you for contacting me regarding the Epstein Files Transparency Act (P.L. 119-38). I welcome and appreciate your thoughts on this important matter.
As you may know, the Epstein Files Transparency Act was signed into law by President Donald J. Trump on November 19, 2025. I voted for this legislation because it provides transparency and justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s horrendous crimes. While President Biden had four years to release the files, I applaud President Trump for bringing Jeffrey Epstein to justice during his first term and continuing to advance accountability by signing this bill into law.
Additionally, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is conducting a thorough investigation into the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. To date, they have released over 65,000 pages of documents, issued 13 subpoenas, and conducted interviews with two key witnesses. Rest assured, I will continue to support the ongoing congressional investigation, and I am confident that their efforts will help bring transparency for these victims.
Again, thank you for contacting me and for all you do for our community in Pennsylvania. Should you have additional comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-2065, my Washington, PA office at (724) 206-4800, or my Latrobe, PA office at (724) 219-4200.
