57th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts about ongoing efforts to uncover the truth surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and his associates’ crimes. Your thoughts are important to me as I work to represent you effectively in Congress.

Let’s be clear about one thing: Jeffrey Epstein was a disgusting human being who exploited and abused vulnerable individuals. There is no defense of his crimes, and I fully support transparency to ensure that those impacted have the answers and closure needed in a horrid situation. That’s why I supported the passage of H.Res.668, a resolution to ensure that the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight continues to investigate the situation and releases its findings to the public.

According to the resolution, the committee records to be publicly disclosed include unclassified records referring or relating to Epstein's detention and death; flight logs of aircraft owned or used by Epstein; individuals named in connection with Epstein’s criminal activities, civil settlements, or immunity or plea agreements; immunity deals, sealed settlements, or plea bargains of Epstein or his associates; entities with ties to Epstein’s trafficking or financial networks; and internal Department of Justice (DOJ) communications concerning decisions to investigate or charge Epstein or his associates.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact me.  If you’d like to receive updates about this issue and other news that’s important to our community, please sign up here.  To follow along with my work on your behalf, please join me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram  and YouTube.  If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me again.  As always it is an honor to represent you in the United States Congress.

56th Response from United States Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for contacting the Office of Representative Dave Min to voice your support for releasing files detailing the child sex trafficking activities of Jeffery Epstein. We appreciate you taking the time to express your thoughts on issues important to you, as it helps the Representative better understand the needs of the Orange County community.

As a former SEC enforcement attorney, UC Irvine law professor, and member of the House Oversight Committee, Representative Min has spent his career fighting for the rule of law. He believes that the survivors of Epstein’s abuse deserve justice and that the Epstein files should be released in their entirety. For that reason, he proudly joined the discharge petition to force a vote in the House of Representatives to release the files.

While President Trump has tried to shift attention to Epstein’s ties to prominent Democrats, Representative Min has called for a full, transparent, and apolitical investigation. He also believes that no one, regardless of political party, connections, or power, should be allowed to violate the law without repercussion.

You may be interested to know that in September 2025, Representative Min heard directly from survivors of Epstein’s abuse and was awed by the courage they displayed. Their powerful stories convinced Representative Min that the files will expose how widely Epstein’s horrific criminal network reached. As the father of a 13-year-old daughter, Representative Min believes we cannot allow our children to grow up in a world where their rights are seen as inferior to the whims and desires of the rich and powerful. He stands united with the House Democratic Caucus in pursuing justice for the survivors, and he urges his Republican colleagues to call for the release of the Epstein files and stop protecting pedophiles.

Thank you again for writing to our office about this issue. To stay up to date on how our office is representing you and California’s 47th District, you can follow Representative Min on X (formerly Twitter) @CongressMin, on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads @RepDaveMin, or BlueSky at @congressmin.bsky.social. Sincerely,

The Office of Rep. Dave Min

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. I appreciate hearing from you and am grateful for the opportunity to respond.

I believe all credible information should be released related to the Jeffrey Epstein case to maintain transparency and more importantly, trust, with the American people. On November 18th, in a near-unanimous vote, the House passed a bill directing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all files related to its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

I voted on this bill to ensure that the truth is exposed surrounding Epstein, and his powerful allies, and to codify justice for all survivors. For years, the Biden Administration and Democratic leaders suppressed the release of information surrounding Epstein’s heinous crimes and refused to push the DOJ for action. I am hopeful that the Trump Administration continues to work with the DOJ to uncover the truth and steadily release pertinent information to the American public.

The right path forward is to uncover the truth in a way that protects the innocent while ensuring the guilty are held accountable. Maintaining accountability within our agencies and strengthening public trust with the American people remains a top priority, and I will continue to advocate for full transparency and cooperation as we ensure justice is served.

Thank you again for contacting me. It is an honor to serve as your Representative in Congress. 51st Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for contacting my office with your views and messages. I appreciate the opportunity to engage with you on this important issue of the Epstein files and to respond to your message.

On such an item, my position has remained consistently firm: we need transparency.

While we balance this need for the truth to bring the details of Jeffrey Epstein and his network’s crimes to light, we must be careful in our disclosures so that we may protect the identities of the survivors. To share their names, albeit in the pursuit of justice, would further their lived trauma and leave them exposed to the public eye. Transparency, as necessary as it may be, must never come at the cost of causing further damage to those most affected.

For too long, the details surrounding the illegal activities of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators have been left opaque despite the many statements and plans expressed by the Department of Justice (DOJ). To push for the promised change, I, along with an overwhelming majority of my peers, voted in favor of H.R.4405-Epstein Files Transparency Act. This bill, which has now been signed into law, requires the DOJ to publish (in a searchable and downloadable format) all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the DOJ's possession that relate to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. Additionally, the text specifies that the DOJ is permitted to withhold certain information, such as the personal information of victims and materials that would jeopardize an active federal investigation.

The DOJ has been unable to meet the stipulated deadline for disclosure, dated Dec. 19, 2025, leaving the contended documents in limbo. Most recently, as of January 30, 2026, the DOJ has released an additional 3 million items, in compliance with H.R.4405. To resolve the lateness on account of the DOJ, our courts and Congress have been working ardently to legally release more materials.

Although much more still needs to be done to resolve the matter, I am proud of the work done by the Oversight Committee that has released thousands of documents to the public already.

The release of the Epstein files and their contents, sensitive to names, must become known to the public, so that the perpetrators of such horrific abuses can be held accountable and their victims be given due justice and privacy.

I thank you for your engagement with my office and I hope that I have been able to provide you with clarity on my official position. It is an honor to serve the Second District.

Sincerely,

Rep. Don Bacon

Member of Congress

50th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Epstein files. I always appreciate hearing from my constituents on the issues most important to them, and I rely on your input to best serve the Inland Empire.

Throughout his campaign, President Trump made a clear promise: To publicly release files containing the names of individuals associated with the crimes of alleged human trafficker Jeffery Epstein. Now while in office, it has become apparent the President has no interest in releasing the files and ensuring justice for the victims of Epstein and his associates.

Why the President has reversed course and impeded the release of the files is unclear. Many have speculated the longstanding friendship between the President and Jeffery Epstein is a possible cause. Credible reports have surfaced indicating the President’s name was found within the files, with more information indicating the FBI tasked agents with redacting his name wherever it appeared.

Regardless of the reason for the delay, the American public deserve to know the truth about the horrific crimes Jeffrey Epstein committed and those who enabled him. House Republicans have voted to effectively block a debate on whether the Department of Justice should release the Epstein files to the public. Despite their opposition, I was proud to sign onto a bipartisan discharge petition which would immediately force a vote to release the files. No one in the government should be trying to keep the facts on these child predators hidden. Please know I will continue to fight for the justice these victims have long deserved.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence, resources are available here.

Thank you for passing along your concerns regarding the Epstein Files. If you would like to receive periodic updates on issues affecting the Inland Empire, please follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky. 49th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding Jeffrey Epstein. I welcome the opportunity to respond.

The American people are well aware of Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific crimes. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Epstein harmed over 1,000 victims. I want to be clear: we must expose the criminals and protect the victims and the innocent.

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky introduced House Resolution 581, which would give the Trump Administration 30 days to release all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials related to Epstein. I am a proud cosponsor of this resolution.

On September 3, 2025, I joined my House colleagues to “endorse and affirm” the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

The Oversight Committee has taken the following actions:

·         Issued 10 deposition subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales.

·         Agreements are in place to receive formal written declarations from former Attorneys General Alberto Gonzelez, Eric Holder, and Jeff Sessions under penalty of prosecution for false statements.

·         Bill Barr has been interviewed by Committee investigators.

·         Issued a subpoena to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for records related to Epstein and Maxwell.

·         DOJ is complying with the subpoena and has already delivered 34,000 pages of Epstein-related documents to the committee, which have been publicly release, with more forthcoming.

·         Issued a subpoena to the Epstein estate for related documents and communications (the deadline for producing those documents is September 8th).

·         Issued a subpoena for deposition testimony from Ghislaine Maxwell.

·         Scheduled former Labor Secretary and former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta, for a voluntary transcribed interview on September 19.

·         The Committee is also in direct contact with Epstein survivors.

On November 18, 2025, I voted YES on H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

I will continue to fight for transparency on this issue. Please know I remain mindful that while the placard outside 1030 Longworth House Office Building bears my name, the job you elected me to do is to represent your voice. My hope is that you continue to be vocal.

Again, thank you for contacting me to share your opinions. I will keep your views in mind as we continue to debate legislation in the 119th Congress and will always fight for Texas values. Please visit my website KeithSelf.House.gov for more information and to sign up for my newsletter.

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me about H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. I appreciate you taking the time to share your views.

On November 18th, 2025, I voted in favor of H.R. 4405 to require the full public release of all unclassified federal records related to Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network. This bill directs the Department of Justice, Department of the Treasury, and other relevant federal agencies to disclose all related materials, allowing the American people to see the facts for themselves.

As a former sheriff, transparency is my top priority. As the materials and records of Epstein’s network become public with the passage of H.R. 4405, I’ll continue doing everything I can to make sure the victims are respected and given appropriate protection.

Please know that I will keep your thoughts in mind should the House consider any further legislation related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your opinion.

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns regarding the FBI releasing the Epstein Files. In order to make sound voting decisions, I need to hear from constituents in the Fifth Congressional District. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me with your thoughts on this issue, as I know how important it is to you.

On January 30th, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice published over 3 million additional pages responsive to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Trump on November 19th, 2025. More than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images were included. Combined with prior releases, this makes the total production nearly 3.5 million pages released in compliance with the Act. These files were collected from five primary sources including the Florida and New York cases against Epstein, the New York case against Maxwell, the New York cases investigating Epstein’s death, the Florida case investigating a former butler of Epstein, multiple FBI investigations, and the Office of Inspector General investigation into Epstein’s death. The U.S. Department of Justice erred on the side of over-collecting materials, and any materials not produced fall within one of the following categories: duplicate documents between SDNY and SDFL investigations, withheld under privilege – deliberative process privilege, attorney client privilege, withheld based upon exceptions under the act (depictions of violence) and items that are not part of the case file for Epstein or Maxwell and were completely unrelated to these cases. Thank you again for contacting me on this issue.

It is my great honor to serve as your Member of Congress. It is my number one priority to represent you and the best interests of the Fifth Congressional District. Please do not hesitate to call, write, or e-mail me in the future with any concerns or questions. For federal-related issues, you may reach my Washington, D.C. office by phone at (202) 225-6405, or my District office at (800) 541-6446 for constituent services. 46th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the passage of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Hearing directly from constituents like you is one of the most important parts of my work as your representative in Congress. Your input helps guide my efforts to ensure that the Second Congressional District’s voice is heard in Washington.

For far too long, powerful interests have ignored the victims' stories and their calls for justice and peace. This is especially shameful after four years of the Biden administration, when the President, the Biden DOJ, and Democrat Senators and Members of Congressfailed to take action.

That is why, on November 18, 2025, I proudly voted in favor of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, which passed the House overwhelmingly, the Senate unanimously, and was signed into law immediately by President Trump, ordered the Attorney General to release all remaining documents and records related to Jeffery Epstein, including records of all government officials and entities with ties to Epstein, flight logs and travel records, and all related communications in a matter that is accessible to the public. Since, the Department of Justice has published more than 3 million pages of documents, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images.

This bill is an important step towards radical transparency that will produce real accountability in the pursuit of justice for Epstein’s victims. Prior to this bill passing in Congress, Republicans on the House Oversight Committee have led the charge to provide accountability to the victims and answers to the American people about Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s heinous crimes. As a result, Congress uncovered more than 62,000 documents from the Department of Justice, supporting the effort to unleash the truth and hold evil accountable.

I understand that much of the materials have not been made public. In a recent letter to the Southern District of New York, United States Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy United States Attorney General Todd Blanche, laid out plans to comply with the Act and the Court’s Order. To do so, the Department of Justice will review over two million documents that contain sensitive victim identifying information. As a result, the Department has reported that more than one dozen victims have already reached out to request their information be redacted. This is a delicate situation where the process needs to be done correctly to ensure that more damage is not done to the victims. At this time, the DOJ has pledged that over 400 lawyers and 100 agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are dedicated to reviewing and releasing the entirety of the documents. I remain steadfast in my support for delivering radical transparency to the American people. The American people deserve the truth and the victims deserve justice. As we continue down this path, we should keep the victims of these terrible crimes in mind. Their strength and courage in times of extreme adversity propelled our push for justice. I continue to pray for them and their families, while emphasizing the need to respect their privacy.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve you as your United States Congressman. I will keep your thoughts in mind as I continue working to ensure America remains a safe and prosperous nation. 45th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 24, 2026

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Epstein files. I appreciate hearing your perspective on this important issue.

I support the release of all the Epstein files and voted in favor of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which became law and directed the Department of Justice to release unclassified documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s investigation and to report directly to Congress. Although it passed, House Republicans made multiple attempts to block previous efforts by House Democrats. Before voting for the Files Transparency Act, I had voted in favor of H.Res.577, demanding the immediate release of all federal documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein.

As you may know, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in New Jersey in 2019 and later died in federal custody, with the official cause ruled as suicide. Since then, the public has demanded answers about the individuals involved and the failures that allowed his crimes to continue for so long. Although some files have been released, there is still a lot more to uncover.

On the campaign trail, President Trump supported releasing the Epstein files. However, as president, he did everything in his power to block it. His friendship with Jeffrey Epstein is well-documented, despite President Trump’s reversing his stance by the time public reports with his name came out.

Survivors were silenced and ignored for far too long, and now they are suffering, yet again. Trump’s Department of Justice is so incompetent that they allowed the release of the files without redacting some of the victims’ identities. This is not only traumatizing, but it also puts them at risk of retaliation.

This is a reflection of Attorney General Pam Bondi’s lack of ability to lead the agency. During the House Congressional hearing, Attorney General Bondi was defensive and evasive to my colleagues in the House Judiciary Committee. She also acted callously when asked to acknowledge the survivors’ presence. Her actions were disrespectful to the victims, Congressmembers, and the American people.

I can assure you that House Democrats will continue to fight until all information is released and victims are vindicated.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me. I invite you to subscribe to my email newsletter updates so I can keep you informed on important issues and hear your thoughts on the matters that impact our community. You can sign up here.

44th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 24, 2026

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for reaching out about the Epstein Files. It means the world to Congresswoman Goodlander to hear directly from Granite Staters and she wanted to make sure you knew that she shares your concerns about the files’ delayed and chaotic release.

After months of stonewalling by President Trump and the Speaker of the House, on November 18, 2025, the Congresswoman joined 426 of her colleagues to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act. President Trump signed it into law, requiring his Administration to release the files by December 19, 2025.

On January 29, 2026, the Congresswoman joined more than 60 members of the Democratic Women’s Caucus to demand a thorough investigation into the release of the files and ensure they are released in full compliance with the law and in a survivor-centered manner. You can read the letter here.

The Congresswoman knows that the rule of law applies to everyone, and no politician or billionaire is above the law. She will never stop fighting for basic transparency and justice for victims of crime and will continue to follow this issue closely.

Thank you,

Team Goodlander

43rd Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr. Neece,

Thank you for contacting me about the Epstein Files.

In November, Congress passed H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all of the Epstein Files within 30 days of the bill becoming law. Now months later, the DOJ remains uncompliant. It has released only a fraction of the documents it was required to, and it continues to drag its feet on the remainder. It also illegally redacted the names of several of Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators, including President Trump. This is a slap in the face to survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and to the American people, who demand transparency from their government.

Before we passed this law, President Trump – despite having made it a campaign promise to release them – worked extremely hard with House Republicans to prevent their release. They did everything they could to intimidate House Republicans into not voting for their release, and Speaker Johnson refused to swear in a duly elected Democratic member of Congress for over 50 days to prevent her from forcing a vote on the release. That they fought so hard to cover up these crimes raises serious questions as to who they were working so hard to protect. The files released so far are horrifying. They contain detailed descriptions of acts of sexual violence that Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators inflicted on survivors, along with gut-wrenching and disturbing emails referencing abusing them in cruel and coded ways. President Trump himself is mentioned in the files over 38,000 times in over 5,300 documents – and that's just in the half that has been made public. His commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, was found to have been planning a trip to Epstein’s island years after he claimed to have ended their relationship and long after Epstein was exposed as a sex trafficker and pedophile.

That Republicans worked so hard to protect these people is disgusting – no one should be shielded from accountability. Jeffrey Epstein victimized hundreds of women and girls in service of the rich, powerful, and well-connected. The co-conspirators, accomplices, and enablers have absolutely no place serving in our government or influencing our politics. The survivors deserve justice, and the American people deserve transparency. I will continue to push for the full release of the files and support any court efforts to compel the DOJ to release them.

Thank you again for contacting my office to share your thoughts. Please continue to call or email me with any other thoughts or suggestions you may have. I’m honored to serve as your voice in Congress, and I’m hard at work bringing our commonwealth’s values to Washington.

Sincerely,

Rep. Morgan McGarvey

41st Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for contacting me about the Epstein Files. I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue.

The Epstein files contain information regarding the crimes of convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices that the public has a right to know. Congress has a responsibility to pursue the facts and uncover the truth about Jeffrey Epstein and his inner circle. The victims deserve justice, and the public deserves candor.

That is why I was a proud cosponsor of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Transparency Act, and supported H.Res.581, the discharge petition that successfully circumvented House Republican leadership who for months had blocked attempts to release the full, unclassified files. H.R. 4405 passed with overwhelming support in the House and Senate and was signed into law on November 19, 2025. This legislation requires the Department of Justice to publish all unclassified records, documents, and materials related to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.

On Friday, January 30, the Department of Justice released 3.5 million pages of Epstein files – their first release since a few thousand files with extensive redactions were made public in December. While the files do not include direct communication between President Trump and Epstein, they do reveal close ties between Jeffery Epstein and President Trump’s inner circle and cabinet.

However, this new release was disorganized, full of duplicates, and failed to adequately protect survivors’ personal information. Many of the files have redacted the names and faces of abusers while leaving survivors –including individuals who were not previously publicized– fully exposed. It is outrageous that this administration is allowing the victims to be scrutinized in this manner while protecting the identities of many of Epstein’s enablers.

Attorney General Pam appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on February 11. During this hearing, she deliberately obstructed efforts by Democratic Members of Congress to exercise oversight and attempted to deflect this serious issue by discussing the stock market, economic gains, and other unrelated issues. I was outraged at her unwillingness to answer basic questions, take responsibility for the Administration’s botched handling of the release of the Epstein files, or address the survivors of his abuses – who have all been denied meetings with the Department of Justice to provide testimony. It is clear that she is beholden to President Trump, not the Constitution as she should be, and I have called for her immediate resignation.

It is important to recognize that this is not over until every legally required document has been released and every perpetrator of abuse has been exposed. Reports suggested that over six million pages exist in total. Survivors deserve every single file to be released.

The American people have made clear that they want transparency and accountability on this issue. Rest assured, I will continue fighting for the full release of these files in the face of these despicable efforts to shield the perpetrators of abuse.

Sincerely,

Chellie Pingree

40th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

To Mr Neece,

Thank you for reaching out and taking the time to express your views on the Trump Administration’s lack of action to release the Epstein files. As your U.S. Representative, I can assure you that your voice has been heard, and your message has been received by my office.

Like you, I was horrified to learn of the documented trafficking of young women and girls by Jeffrey Epstein, a sex offender and financier with whom the President often socialized years ago. The people who have abused these girls should be fully prosecuted by the law, and I firmly support the release of the Epstein files to the public.

For years, Trump and those in his orbit, including the Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, alleged that prior administrations had covered up the identities of Epstein’s rich and powerful coconspirators, as well as the details surrounding Epstein’s death. After claiming that they could release the reports, the Trump Administration is now making every excuse in the book to not release the files. There appear to be only two explanations for this shift: either the Epstein files did not contain the explosive information that Trump and his allies claimed during his campaign, and they exploited the horror of sex trafficking for political gain, or this administration is the one covering up what is in the files.

In July, every single House Republican bent the knee to Trump and voted against releasing the Epstein files. Redacting the victims’ names and releasing the files is the responsible thing to do. Either Trump lied to the American people or Republicans are engaging in a cover-up. By cancelling votes to avoid talking about the situation at hand is a great disservice to the American people; this is just another example of Republicans prioritizing President Trump’s agenda over the American people.

All Americans deserve the right to access public information, especially when it concerns the safety of our children. When there is such an effort to avoid transparency, such as the effort undertaken by the Trump Administration to avoid releasing the Epstein files, it harms Americans and their right to important information. That’s why I signed onto Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie’s discharge petition to force a vote to release the files. As your representative, I will continue to do my part to ensure that the Epstein files get released in its full, unredacted form.

38th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 23, 2026

Dear Mr Neece,

Perhaps the greatest evil in this world is the sexual exploitation of children, and as a father, I am appalled by vile people who prey on the most vulnerable members of our community. I understand and appreciate your concern in reaching out to my office regarding the release of all files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking operation. I am grateful to have the benefit of your views as I work to effectively represent you in Congress.

The unspeakable crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, his accomplice Ghislane Maxwell, and their clients are the purest forms of evil, and they will face their reckoning when they meet G-d. As your Representative, I will work tirelessly to hold these monsters accountable, while also ensuring proper protection for the innocent victims, who have already endured so much hardship.

I trust the Administration’s judgment as they navigate this delicate situation of bringing justice to the criminals while protecting victims. This Administration has consistently proved themselves to be the most transparent in American history. They have released all the records relating to the assassinations of President Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, and they have exposed the complete fabrication of the “Russia Hoax” propagated by the Obama White House and the Intelligence Community. The Administration has already taken the transparent step of requesting the release of the sealed grand jury testimony relating to Epstein’s trial.

In the meantime, Congress is working hard to hold the associates of Epstein accountable. Earlier this month H.R. 4405: the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill which would publish all unclassified records relating to Epstein’s criminal enterprise, was signed into law. I was proud to vote for this bill and I am confident that the Administration, with Congress’s support, will bring justice to all those involved in Jeffery Epstein’s crimes.

37th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 20, 2026

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for reaching out to me and sharing your thoughts on the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405). Like you, I believe the American people deserve the full, unredacted truth about Jeffrey Epstein, his criminal network, and the failures that allowed his abuse to persist for far too long.

The Epstein case continues to raise serious questions for me and for many Americans. Congress has a responsibility to ensure that any remaining records are reviewed and released in a manner that respects both public interest and legal standards.

That is why earlier this year, I supported the resolution directing the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to deepen its investigation into the federal government’s handling of the Epstein and Maxwell cases. It also mandated the public release of key records from the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Treasury, and Epstein’s estate. The committee has already made over 53,000 pages available to the public – an important first step toward accountability.

Now, with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, Congress has the opportunity to take it even further. This legislation ensures that all DOJ-held records, investigative files, and court documents are made public. I voted to release everything because transparency is not a partisan issue – it is a matter of justice and trust.

Survivors of Epstein’s abuse deserve closure. The public deserves answers. And our institutions must demonstrate that no one, no matter how wealthy or well-connected, is above the law.

By shining a light on the truth, we can restore confidence in our justice system, prevent future abuses, and hold those who enabled Epstein’s crimes accountable. Justice delayed is justice denied, and I will continue to stand with survivors and fight for transparency.

Once again, thank you for contacting me. Should you wish to discuss this issue further, feel free to call my office at 202-225-5665.

36th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 20, 2026

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. I appreciate hearing from you on this important topic.

As you may know, this legislation requires the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to publish all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in their possession that relate to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has already released tens of thousands of documents this year from the Epstein files.

On January 30, 2026, the DOJ released more than 3 million additional pages of documents, along with over 2,000 videos and 180,000 images, in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, bringing the total number of documents released to nearly 3.5 million pages.

As your Representative, I stand with the victims of Epstein's heinous crimes and strongly support efforts to provide full transparency for the American people. On November 18, 2025, the U.S. House of Representatives passed this legislation with my support. Rest assured, I will keep your thoughts in mind should any additional legislation pertaining to this matter come before the full U.S. House of Representatives for consideration in the 119th Congress.

Thank you again for contacting my office. Please do not hesitate to reach out in the future with any questions, comments, or opinions you may have. I encourage you to call my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-2472 or visit my website at finstad.house.gov, where you can send me an email or sign up for my email newsletter.

34th Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

February 20, 2026

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for reaching out to express your support for releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files held by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your thoughts are important to me as I work to represent you transparently and effectively in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I want to be crystal clear: Epstein was a predator. He exploited women and girls, and the people who protected him need to be held accountable. As the father of six children, protecting the health and safety of our kids will always be my top priority. Children are the most vulnerable among us and deserve the utmost protection by society. Those who prey on them must be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

As you may know, Jeffrey Epstein was awaiting trial for the sex trafficking of minors when he was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019. Because he died before criminal charges could be pursued, all criminal charges against him were dropped later that month. On June 28, 2022, Ghislaine Maxwell, who had a close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for several sex trafficking-related crimes.

On July 7, 2025, Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17) introduced H.R. 4405, the Epstein Transparency Act, which requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all unclassified documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Accountability from our government isn’t optional, it’s a duty. Iowans deserve the truth, victims deserve justice, and I voted in favor of the Epstein Transparency Act to deliver both. The bill passed the House on November 18, 2025 by a vote of 427–1. The bill then passed the Senate and was signed into law by President Donald Trump on November 19, 2025.

The bottom line is that I agree with you: we must ensure that justice is served and that all those who were involved are held accountable. I remain committed to fighting for truth, because transparency is not optional—it is the first step toward justice and ensuring the safety of our children and communities.

33rd Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

Dear Mr Neece,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the release of the Epstein Files. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me on this important issue.

As you know, Jeffrey Epstein was a convicted sex offender who managed an extensive criminal network to traffic and sexually exploit hundreds of young girls. The Department of Justice (DOJ) possesses thousands of pages of investigative files, flight logs, and other materials related to Epstein's crimes and his associates. These documents – dubbed the Epstein Files – reportedly contain a client list that may implicate unnamed, high-profile associates in criminal activity.

During his 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump vowed to release these files if elected. He promised the American people complete transparency about Epstein's criminal enterprise and those who may have been complicit. Yet, since taking office, the Trump Administration has refused to honor these commitments and has tried to distract the public from the issue. In February, Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced that her office was reviewing the Epstein client list. She later contradicted these statements, stating that the DOJ found no incriminating client list and declaring that no further disclosure would be warranted. President Trump has supported the Attorney General’s decision and decried the push to release the files as a hoax. This reversal comes as several news outlets and Trump allies, including Elon Musk, have outlined Trump’s close personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and stated that he is named in the Epstein Files.

The American people deserve the truth about who enabled or participated in Epstein’s criminal network, and the Epstein Files must be released. Throughout this saga, Republican leaders in Congress have attempted to shield the President from scrutiny and dismiss this issue. Speaker Johnson relentlessly defends the Administration’s failure to act and refused to bring meaningful legislation up for a vote. That is why I signed the discharge petition led by Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna that ultimately forced a vote on H.R.4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which required the release of the Epstein files. I was proud to join this bipartisan group of lawmakers who stood up for justice when the Speaker failed to act. You may be aware that Speaker Johnson refused to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva for seven weeks because she was the deciding signature on this petition.

Once Rep.-elect Grijalva was sworn in and signed the discharge petition, it became clear that the Epstein Files Transparency Act had enough support to pass the House. At that point, hundreds of previously silent House Republicans, including Speaker Johnson, indicated they would join my bipartisan colleagues and me in supporting the bill. I was proud to vote for this legislation, which ultimately passed the House with 427 votes. The Senate passed the bill unanimously.

While President Trump has since signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law, his Administration’s attempts to disrupt and prevent the release of the Epstein Files have continued unabated. On November 14—five days before the bill passed the House—President Trump directed the Attorney General to initiate a sham investigation into Epstein’s ties to some Democrats. This is noteworthy because the Epstein Files Transparency Act allows the DOJ to redact documents that would interfere in an active investigation or ongoing prosecution. The Attorney General cannot use this contrived investigation as an excuse to withhold the release of the files.

Every individual who participated in, enabled, or protected Epstein's criminal enterprise must be held accountable, regardless of their wealth, power, or political connections. Transparency is not a partisan issue; it is a fundamental element of justice. When survivors of Epstein's abuse courageously traveled to Capitol Hill demanding action, Congress had a moral obligation to listen. These victims have waited years for accountability, and they deserve better than political games and manufactured excuses. Please know that, while President Trump and Republican leadership want us to look away, I will continue fighting to ensure these files are released in their entirety and that the American people receive the truth they deserve.

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to write to me about this important issue. Hearing from constituents is an important part of my decision-making process.
