81st Response from United States Congress Regarding Marller Gets a Spinoff: The Return of Jeffrey Epstein

March 2, 2026

Dear Kevin:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the release of the Epstein files. I appreciate hearing from you and welcome the opportunity to respond.

As you may know, I, along with four hundred and twenty-six of my colleagues, voted to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act out of the House of Representatives on November 18th, 2025. This bill requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to make all unclassified materials related to the prosecution and investigation of Jeffrey Epstein publicly available and downloadable within 30 days. Due to the sensitive nature of the documents, the bill permits DOJ to withhold personally identifiable information of victims to ensure their privacy and protection.

I am proud to support this legislation to finally deliver on the transparency that the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and their families deserve. Please know that I will continue working to bring all those responsible for these horrific crimes to justice.

Again, thank you for contacting me regarding this important issue. If you have any questions or would like more information, please visit my website at graves.house.gov to sign up for my weekly newsletter, or keep in touch with me through my Facebook page.

Sincerely,

Sam Graves

Member of Congress
