During the making of Ah My Goddess: Death Note War Games, you are all probably asking yourselves, if these movies were shot as an actual film production in real life, how are the Japanese Actors in the movie such as Urara Takano, Kosuke Fujishima, Tsugumi Ohba and Yoshinobu Noma going to be expected to perform their lines in English?
The answer is trick photography and voice dubbing. I'm not going to ask them to perform their lines in English. Every single shot of the movie that they are featured in will just be them by themselves performing the lines in Japanese, and then the shots will be cut together to make it look like they are interacting with the other actors in the building, and the English Voice Actors will dub over their performances no different than any of the other Japanese Films like the live action Death Note movies.
It isn't even necessary for them to be on location. You could record their roles in front of a Green Screen in a Japanese Public Access Station and use the same location backgrounds that Kevin Neece uses in the original movies.
Kevin Neece's Ah My Goddess is supposed to look like a Cheap Public Access show. When we were on Zombie Life TV, we didn't even have a real green screen. We used a White Background Curtain, and use Green Studio Lights to project the Green Background Images on the White Curtains, and that was how Gavin Stone did the Backgrounds on Fanservice and Zombie Life TV.
