My thoughts on Curry Barkers Obsession is it was a reimagining of the Love Spell episode of Ah My Goddess Season One. In the anime series, Belldandy gives Keiichi one wish which he uses to make her his girlfriend. In Obsession, the lead uses a One Wish Willow to get a girlfriend only to find her behavior makes him nervous and uncomfortable until it escalates into psych ward style insanity. And this is the episode of Ah My Goddess where Belldandy is drugged by a love potion that turns her into a slut and makes her boyfriend Keiichi nervous and uncomfortable. Obsession and this Ah My Goddess episode are different ends of the same spectrum. One is Horror Comedy and the other is Anime Romantic Sex Comedy. But they are both the same premise.
